Holistic guidance and support for human rights, humanitarian, development & international legal professionals
Liz runs a holistic mentorship programme for development, humanitarian, human rights, protection and international legal practitioners.
If you would like to explore your professional and personal future in a confidential manner with a seasoned mentor get in touch.
I am a soundboard, observer and commentator who will work with you to find direction, purpose and the time to ensure you have a proper self-care plan.
I have been a mentor for 17 years working in the non-profit and intergovernmental sectors as a professor, advisor, advocate, teacher and friend. I have a particular specialisation in vicarious trauma as a result of work in conflict and post-conflict zones. I have lived and worked in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, South Africa, Uganda, Costa Rica, Panama and India and consulted, taught and mentored around the globe.
I am a Fellow, Human Rights Centre, University of Essex, UK and Honorary Professor, Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria. I do freelance work for NGOs, universities and intergovernmental organisations along side teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness and running “Real R & R” retreats around the globe!
I look forward to talking to you!

- "I'm very glad that I decided to try yoga. I enjoy it more than I thought I would because of the teacher, Liz rocks!" Liz
- "The benefits are endless: I am seeing improvements in my speed and agility both in running and ice hockey, as well as improvements in my personal well being and strength". M
