Yoga & Meditation

Over the past 20 years Liz has combined her passion for yoga on the mat with public service off the mat (karma yoga). She started practicing yoga and meditation 20 years ago whilst living and working in some highly challenging and dangerous situations as a way to release stress and get out of thinking mind. After a harrowing deployment to Afghanistan in 2003, Liz became a serious yoga and meditation practitioner.

Liz qualified in 2006 with the Sivanada School (200 hour diploma). She then met the creator of Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga,™ Shiva Rea and her mentor Coral Brown. After eight years of intensive study with Shiva, Liz gained her 500 hour diploma in 2014 with the Samudra School of Living Yoga. She then attained the status of Senior Yoga Teacher and Yoga Teacher Trainer in 2017 (Registered as a Yoga Alliance Professional). Liz is an eternal student and in 2018 completed training in the nurturing practice of Yoga Nidra with the Pujan School of Yoga in Thailand.

Liz has been teaching mixed level yoga, meditation and relaxation classes since 2006 around the globe. She offers a fusion of Prana Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra, meditation and pranayama. She also incorporates elements from the Sivanada School of Yoga.

Liz’s yoga offerings (now available on retreat only) are fun, accessible to all levels and prompt students to dive deep into all eight limbs of the yogic system. On retreat Liz offers long, restorative Yoga Nidra and relaxation practices take you into a deep state of  transformative relaxation.
